Signing an apartment lease is a big moment. It may be the first time you’re on your own, or perhaps the move signals you have accepted an exciting job offer and are ready to settle down for a while. Whatever the reason may be, make sure a missing document doesn’t ruin the occasion.
At Altitude, the newly renovated apartments with stunning views of the ocean and the Boston skyline, Leasing Agent Samantha Sigmon and the rest of the Altitude team stand ready to guide you through each step.
“We do most of the initial process on the phone; we ask what they’re looking for, when they want to move, and so on, so by the time they visit we know what we are going to show them,” Samantha explains.
Take a Tour
Before you come to tour the apartments for rent with their brand new stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, hardwood floors, designer cabinetry, and expansive balconies, Samantha ensures your income meets the Altitude requirements (at least twice the monthly rent).
Then, after you have taken the tour, which also includes an up-close look at amenities, such as the sparkling pool, fitness center, and game rooms, get your pen – and documents ― ready.
This is what you need to bring to a lease application at Altitude:
- Proof of income: If you just landed a job, bring an offer letter from your new employer. If, on the other hand, you’re employed, three of your most recent paystubs will do.
- Proof of ID: Pick two of the following: Your passport, driver’s license, or any other government issued ID such as a photo identification card, birth certificate ― or, if you’re coming from abroad ― a student or work visa.
Start Decorating
What comes next is pure excitement: decorating your home, exploring both the grounds and surrounding neighborhoods, and settling into your new lifestyle.
“People like that you get the whole package here,” Samantha says. “Our prices are very competitive, utilities are included, and there are tons of amenities. But I’d say the biggest perk of all is our amazing location. Many of our residents take the MBTA bus, which stops right on the property and goes right into Boston. People also come here for the balconies and the spectacular views. It’s an all-around unique property.”
Come on up to Altitude.
