Do you have a question about Altitude, the unique apartments for rent near Boston?
Samantha Sigmon has the answer. The Altitude leasing consultant excels at helping people find an apartment that they love.
After two years on the job, she knows all there’s to know about this newly renovated 24-hour gated community, perched on a hill in Malden with stellar views of the ocean and the Boston skyline.
Let's hear it from Samantha herself:
Q. What do you like about your job?
A. I like that I get to meet everyone and that I pretty much know all the residents here when I walk around the property. Assisting people with finding the right apartment is rewarding for me personally. It’s obviously an important decision and I like being part of making the process as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Q. What traits do you think make a good leasing agent?
A. Patience and friendliness are both key. Leasing is a process and it takes time. I want clients to know I’m here for them, whether they need to ask a question, sign a document, or take a tour. You have to excel at customer service.
Q. What do people tend to like about Altitude?
A. People like that you get the whole package here. We have beautifully renovated units, utilities are included, and there are tons of amenities. But I’d say the biggest perk of all is our amazing location. People also decide to live here for the balconies and the spectacular views our location offers. Many of our residents take the MBTA bus, which stops right on the property and goes right into Boston on stop . We offer on-site package delivery services as well as dry cleaning services for our residents. Its an all-around unique property.
Q. What are common questions prospective renters have?
A. A lot of people ask about safety. We are a 24-hour, 7-day a week, gated community. That’s a huge plus and makes people feel comfortable. Our residents get a gate fob that they use to enter the property. There’s one lane for residents and one for guests so security guards can monitor who’s coming in and out. And you need a smart card to enter any building on the property.
Q. Why should people live at Altitude?
A. Other than food shopping, you really don’t have to leave the property. There’s so much to do here: You have a gym/weight room, a sparkling pool, and a movie theater. Altitude has it all to make life easy for residents. The newly renovated apartments feature brand new stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, designer vanities, and hardwood floors in the living areas. It’s pet friendly too. Altitude is a very quiet and peaceful community. I would love to live here.
Q. What else is good to know?
A. We do have a couple of incentive programs. The Hometown Heroes Program gives any police officer, firefighter, or military personnel a one-time $500 off their rent. The Preferred Employers Program also offers a one-time $500 discount to employees at select companies such as Massachusetts General Hospital.
